I’ve actually learned this trick whilst working with MOSS 2007 previously and quickly checked the integration options and stumbled upon this feature as well. I myself never use this method but it is nice to know, and maybe this information could be usefull to someone out there
Herewith the steps to post Blog Posts via Word 2007.
- Open Word and Select File->New
- Select the Blog Post template.

- If you’ve not setup your Blog provider yet, you can now enter it. (quite a couple of providers are support and yes…Wordpress is one of them).

- Register your blogs details, and add the picture import feature as well(which is really cool)
- When finished you will now be able to view your template and start typing your post.

- When finished, click on the down arrow on the Publish button and select direct publishing or “Publish as Draft”

Your post should now be published to your host with the images(if configured).

I’m currently preparing for a technical presentation and was looking for something to zoom in on a certain part of the screen whilst busy with a presentation and then zoom out and continue.
I then found ZoomIt on Microsoft Technet which is quite nice, has capabilities to zoom in/out with quick shortcuts, write and draw lines, type text on the screen etc.

Only bad point I could find was that you cannot interact with the elements on the screen(click buttons etc) whilst zoomed in, you have to zoom out totally before you can interact again.
You can download ZoomIt from Microsoft Technet here.

The company I’m currently working for, DVT, has a product called Radical, with which I’ve been playing around with quite intensely lately.
I’m currently busy with a very large Aviation project, where we are using Radical to co-ordinate and store vital information for the Aircraft, parts and much more.(don’t want to abbreviate on this yet).
This product was developed locally and thus this is localy Intellectual Property of DVT, which was bought from(or acquisition done) Solutional a few years ago.
The main idea behind Radical was to be a CRM solutional, but it has grown to such a powerful product, that today, you can vitually build anything on it - an in very quick timeframes. I usually just summarize it as “Access on Steroids” where you now have a powerful Intelligent GUI interface which lays on top of the database, with form logic and BRP(Busines Rule Processor) running on top of that to ensure you can monitor and manage any process effectively.
They do have a free download available(1 user lisence) for guys that want to have a peek.
Unfortunately this product only runs with MS SQL Server underneath, but soon(if I can get them converted :-/ ) we could maybe see engines like MySQL under the bonet.

Yip, the US-BEE has flown in, and no - it has nothing to do with Black Economic Empowerment .
The USBee flash drive is attention-grabbing, not only because of its bee-themed appearance, but also because of its bendable neck and curvaceous shape. The USBee also features heat ventilation around the circuit board so that you don’t fry your precious content. This would be a good thumb drive solution for the Macbook Air and its unfortunate USB situation.
