Might be afew months behind, but this is really awesome campaign.
Advertising campaign done by Joe Public. Drivers who have taken their number plates off to avoid being caught by speed cameras are targeted by sticking a magnetic number plate that says SPEEDKILLS.GP on their car. When they remove the plate they find a message on the back that says,”WHEN YOU HAVE A HEAD-ON COLLISION AT 180KM/H A SPEEDING FINE WILL BE THE LEAST OF YOUR WORRIES. One third of all fatal crashes are caused by speeding. Don’t use your vehicle as a weapon.” The campaign was recently featured by Jeremy Mags on eTV.Â

Posted by Riaan Oosthuysen | 09. Dec, 2008, 13:11Ja – die mense lyk skoon verstrooid wanneer hulle die nommerplaat op hulle kar kry, en veral as hulle die agterkant lees, en dan lyk hulle sommer skaam en klim in hulle kar en ry vinnig weg.
