I’m a sufferer of Dry and Red Eyes.
Sometimes I find myself working for 4-5 hours straight, focusing just on my screen and looking at no other focus points, and thus causing my eyes to sometimes dry out and getting tired from all the concentrating.
I’m usually at work around 06h00 in the mornings, and this morning I really was struggling with my eyes from last nights’ work, and the nights’ sleep also did not help.
So I did not have any eye drops with me this morning, so went to go ask one of the other dudes in the office if he’s got some eye drops for me and he introduced me the EyeDefender, which he says helps him, as he also suffers from the same problem.
Basically you set up EyeDefender to force you to “Take a break!” every x minutes for y minutes. It clears your screen and shows you an image you define.
You can exit it if you really need to continue working though, but is a good reminder.
