One of South Africa’s most oddest and unique houses, the “Flying Saucer” on the West Rand is up for sale. ( private property )
I’ve actually seen it online for quite some time, but while browsing some blogs this morning, I came upon a few other links of auctions in the US and others where there are also “Flying Saucers” for sale.
But of all the ones I found the South African one looks the most majestic and most impressive.
Proudly South African ! We even win in the alien race ![]()
Yip, the US-BEE has flown in, and no - it has nothing to do with Black Economic Empowerment .![]()
The USBee flash drive is attention-grabbing, not only because of its bee-themed appearance, but also because of its bendable neck and curvaceous shape. The USBee also features heat ventilation around the circuit board so that you don’t fry your precious content. This would be a good thumb drive solution for the Macbook Air and its unfortunate USB situation.

Google has announced that they are launching there newest offering, also FREE(i love putting this in caps) called Google Ad Manager.
I’ve applied for my account today, to start evaluating this new offering.
As most of you know I’m a big OpenX ( phpAdsNew/OpenAds) fan and have been using this for more than 2 years, could even be longer).
The guys at OpenX has come up with a good article on their blog. ( click here to view ). They go with the fact that it is never good that Google knows everything about you, and also that Google can now see all your revenue streams, and thus can reduce their prices etc. to fit in with other campaigns, but give it a read and you’ll understand better.
I will still keep on using OpenX, and don’t know if I’ll be using Google Ad Manager, but as always, they do make good products, but we’ll see how this one rolls out.
This is one of the first online videos that I really-really found informative and found real interesting.
This is a video about one of the YouTube developers and he is sharing some of the problems they experienced in their growth, and shares some of the REALLY NICE tricks and hacks they did to get all the juice out of their servers.
They had just a handful of staff members involved with the creation and main development, just think about that profit sharing …lol
and WOW!!! they push out 10GB per second from their site!!!
