25th again, time to start drawing up invoices.
At the moment, I’m supporting a few websites with different types of support, and am currently using Eventum from MySQL to track the bugs and requests and at the end of the month can give a very thorough report and hour-count for the client. So far for my needs this had been working excellent.
I would recommend anybody to give it a try.

Well, I’ve received an invitation to visit LugRadio Live this year. I’m very eager to go, as all my accomadation etc. is paid for, all I need to do is get the plane ticket.
At the moment, I’m just stuck on a project, and not just that, first need to sort out the companies’ tax stuff, well, at the moment there is 27 days left, so - hopefully I’ll make it, otherwise there’s always next year.
Though it would have been cool to watch Mark Shuttleworth speaking overseas…

Well, as some of you guys know I’ve been doing quite some business stuff the last couple of months.
I’ve mainly been busy with systems in two main categories(all has something to do with PHP).
I’ve been involved in SMS gateway technologies and implement a few successfull implementations of this. The second stream of income has come from a LMS(Learner Management System) that I’ve been implementing with users worldwide. The newest version of the LMS system i’ve written I’ve made extensive use of AJAX and some very neat Javascript tricks to make the user experience so much easier.
I’ve also had some third party projects that I’ve worked on like upgrades to some sites etc. , but I find myself now getting very busy, not having enough time for myself or for my wife almost. I’ll get up at 5h00 in the morning and go to sleep in again at 11h/12h -ish.
I’ve never had time to look at compiling financial books etc. , but now it has hit me, I have to sort out my income tax — arrgghh - what a nightmare.

At last, some good news. I heard tonight that my Ford Explorer sale went through and I will be getting my present in next week.
It is a 1994 Ford Explorer 4.0 litre V6 american beast. One of my dream cars, although with the current fuel prices I’m starting to wonder about this purchase, but for now it will only be my Sunday toy.
Pictures to follow as soon as it’s MINE - hahaha

Well, this weekend was just awesome. NO stress about work or late projects(ouch!), just me and Cindy.
Friday (16th June - Youth Day) was our 1st Wedding anniversary, so we’ve decided to eat out the whole day and just be lazy.
We started our day at Wiesenhoff, although it wasn’t that great, actually very dissapointed with their breakfast, still like Wimpy and Dulces more.
After breakfast we went out to watch the 10h movie X-men 3, which rocked.
Lunch was a quick one at Nando’s.
Around 18h we went to Boston BBQ, which was just crowning the day’s eating festivities with a wide variety of food, very nice. From there we went to the Nelson Mandela Theatre in Braamfontein to watch “We will Rock You” which off course rocked !!!
The rest of the weekend we were just lazy and more lazy - hanging around our new house just doing absolutely nothing. Think I started running my RC airplanes engine in again after a year of dormancy.
To end of the weekend, this afternoon after church and a very nice lunch and my parents’ house I came home and took a long energizing afternoon nap - well deserved I think.
All in all - gr8 weekend.
