Well, we finally sorted out most of the problems with our new experiment forum.

The forum is located at http://www.paymeforum.com and will be basic discussion of how to make money on the internet and discussions of affiliate and other PTR programs.

So, tomorrow will be our first day.

To start of with traffic, I’ve mailed a few PTR programs to get some banner exchanges to get some traffic from them, this is just to get some new people to register on the forum and then we can start working from there.

Our main avenue for revenue will be Adsense, and secondary we will sell banner impressions.

I’ve thought very long and hard for a price for banner impressions, really don’t know good prices. I thought something like $5 CPM but in the beginning the main priority is getting activity on the forum.

Well, that’s it, another month is gone.

My intension for March is to publish more technical and worked out articles here. I’m looking at writing more about real life projects, such as GOGLY and the new Forum that we are launching and writing about my experiences and hiccups in managing these projects. Actually at the moment I have some work to do on IntoShape, maybe later today.

We are officially launching the IntoShape website tomorrow, well, we didn’t say what time so anytime tomorrow.

I’ve just checked the the stats of PulseBlog(this blog), and our bandwidth is 60.38% more than last month, I actually hope March will be something like 100% increase.

I’ve heard alot of hype about Alexa ratings and also Google PR.

Google PR is quite international based, as it is calculated with inbound and outbound links etc.etc.
Google PR is not the amount of traffic but you Page Rank with google. Paul from blogmad gave me quite an extensive quick tutorial over MSN a few weeks back.

Alexa again is more US based(people that have an Alexa bar loaded in their browser), as it is based on real traffic, I went through their FAQ and it looks like is is a calculation about the number of unique visitors and amount of pages etc. …

I went and checked the domain I handle to see where they rate one Alexa and Google.

I’ve been doing alot of research on how to make money on the web.

I’ve come across quite a few very useful places on the internet.

I’ve been a member on DigitalPointForum, where people are quite clued up, one of the members there earns $15k/month using Adsense.

Also found this site this morning which has a nice video(although look abit like advertising) about building your content around high paying keywords.
